An evening filled with intrigue, comedy — and a touch of suspense — is coming to the Valor Hall Conference & Event in Oak Grove.
Planned for March 15, an interactive murder mystery dinner show created through Events by Lori called “Yer Cheatin’ Heart….Just Stopped Beating” in tap, with doors opening at 5 PM, dinner beginning at 6 PM and the show to begin at 7 PM.
Behind a western theme, the presentation is an immersion of theatrics, while bringing families and friends together for a gripping “whodunit” side-splitting comedy. Guests will have dinner and become a part of the action, while playing detective as they unravel the mystery.
Traci Cunningham, Oak Grove Tourism’s executive director, said she was pleased to bring back the show to Valor Hall. Previous similar experiences, she added, have proven to be big hits, especially since it’s a “perfect blend of live theatre, comedy and mystery” that can keep guests entertained.
Visitors are allowed dress up in their favorite western wear, and make some memories in the photo booth.
A talented cast of performers will guide the audience through a suspenseful, yet hilarious, storyline. Attendees can participate, but those who prefer to sit back and watch can still enjoy the antics and surprises throughout the evening.
Tickets are on sale at eventbrite.com, and guests are encouraged to reserve their spots early because this show tends to sell out quickly. This show is for 21+ only.
