A teenager was charged after a pursuit with law enforcement that ended on Glass Lane in Christian County Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to UHA for a report of a possible theft in progress and located a vehicle that matched the description the caller had given, on West 7th Street.
When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, police say the driver, 18-year-old Charles Gray, fled reaching speeds of over 100 mph, going out into the county on Kentucky 272 before coming to a stop in a field off Glass Lane.
Gray was taken into custody and charged with DUI, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, first-degree fleeing or evading police, speeding, and several traffic violations.
