Claude Henry Wooden, 77, Hopkinsville, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, in Hopkinsville.
Claude, the son of the late Charlie Wooden and Nancy Taylor Smith, was born on April 30, 1947, in Indianapolis, IN.
Claude was employed at U.S. Tobacco and was a U.S. ARMY Veteran. He enjoyed playing cards, playing and coaching softball in his early years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, James Nance and Bobby Wooden. Survivors include his daughter Anna Wooden; Siblings Howard Wooden, Virginia West, Vivian Johnson, and Albert Smith; and 4 grandchildren.
Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 17, 2025, at 11:30 am at Gamble Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be Monday at 10:30 at the funeral home.
