Clarksville Man Arrested On Robbery Warrant

A Clarksville man was arrested on a warrant for robbery during a traffic stop in Hopkinsville Tuesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Je’Corion Jenkins for disregarding a stop sign on Lewis Street, and during the stop, a law enforcement K9 alerted to drugs in the vehicle.

After searching the vehicle, a backpack containing marijuana was reportedly found.

Jenkins was arrested on a Christian County warrant for failure to appear, a Montgomery County, Tennessee warrant for aggravated robbery, and he was also charged with disregarding a stop sign, no operator’s license, and trafficking marijuana.
