A wreck on Richard Street in Hopkinsville sent a woman to the hospital and led to charges for a man and woman Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say a car was on Richard Street when a truck driven by 19-year-old Mark Stagner on Dogwood Drive failed to stop at the intersection and hit the car.
The driver of the car was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment.
Stagner’s truck drove on but stalled at the entrance to Debow Playground.
Police say marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in Stagner’s truck, and he and his passenger, 18-year-old Donalye Merritt, were both arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, tampering with physical evidence, and failure to render aid.
Stagner was also charged with DUI, disregarding a stop sign, and no insurance.
