Legislators Proclaiming 2025 General Assembly Session A Success

Area legislators say the 2025 Kentucky General Assembly session that wrapped up Friday afternoon at the state capitol in Frankfort was a success.

Fifth District State Representative Mary Beth Imes says this was earliest wrapup of a legislative session during her five years in office. Imes says the General Assembly spent Thursday and Friday overriding all 29 gubernatorial vetoes, with Imes highlighting some of the issues.
