The first of two annual fundraisers for Missionary Radio, based in Hopkinsville, comes next week.
The annual Friendraiser aims not only to gather donations for the non-profit radio station group but also, more importantly, to attract new listeners and supporters.
General Manager Ken Cummins said the donation drive will take place Tuesday, April 8 to Thursday, April 10 – in Hopkinsville.
Ken’s son, Andrew Cummins, serves as the group’s Community Service Director and has been working with the group since late 2023. He emphasized that local Christian radio stations play a vital role in the community.
Ken added that they have a great staff of locals who bring quality radio programming to the airwaves each week, which includes his wife Tammy.
The Missionary Radio group offers a variety of Christian programming on various radio signals across western Kentucky. More details on their stations and how to donate can be found at missionary.radio.
