Several calls for drivers attempting to cross high water over roads in Trigg County have authorities warning drivers they will be cited if seen.

Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree says they have had four calls of trapped drivers in disabled vehicles after driving into high water Monday, with one being fatal.

Acree says the driver could be charged if seen going around road closed signs, adding it’s dangerous for the driver along with emergency personnel who have to respond.
