A Hopkinsville woman was charged with complicity to manslaughter and trafficking drugs Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say on December 8th, 2023 53-year-old Debbie Elliott provided Fentanyl and meth to Gladys Henry who was later found dead from a drug overdose on West 20th Street.
Elliott reportedly admitted to smoking drugs with her before her death.
Elliott pulled away from the officer as they tried to handcuff her and kicked one of the officers. She was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, complicity to trafficking fentanyl, and complicity to second-degree manslaughter.
