Rodney Alexander Braxton, 60, Hopkinsville, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, in Clinton, KY.
Rodney was the son of the late James A. Braxton, Jr. and Ardenia M. Wilson Braxton. He was born on August 30, 1963, in Christian Co. KY.
Rodney was a member of Virginia Street Baptist Church and was a construction worker. He enjoyed football, drawing, wrestling, and watching sports.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Cassandra Braxton.
Survivors include his son, Durelle Braxton; Siblings, Stephanie Shakespeare, Adrian Smith, Jeanon “Elsie” Newman, Sonya (Alfred) Watkins, Kimberly (Ervin) Felton; 1 Grandson, Messiah Braxton; a host of nieces and nephews.
Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 11:30 a.m.m at Gamble Funeral Home
Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be on Wednesday morning at 10:00.
