Frequent fliers of Kentucky, producers and talent for the popular History Channel show “American Pickers” are returning to the Commonwealth this year — and are once again looking for leads to unique, exquisite collections.
Looking to film episodes this March, the show follows skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiquities.
Specifically, they are searching for historically significant and/or rare items, while seeking unforgettable people and their personal collections.
For those looking to part with certain items, perhaps making room for more, “American Pickers” also maintains a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics — while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the path.
For reference, the show does not pick stores, flea markets, malls, auctions, museums, or anything open to the public. Instead, the popular documentary seeks individuals and families who want to tell stories, while bringing light to some of the cobwebs in collections.
