A man was charged with DUI after a wreck on Interstate 24 in Trigg County that sent him to the hospital Tuesday afternoon.
Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Rob Schneider says an SUV driven by James Griesmer was westbound when it ran off the road and hit a guardrail around the 60-mile marker.
Griesmer was taken by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Schneider says Griesmer was later charged with DUI and having an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.
