The soaking rain that weather forecasters were calling for over the weekend did not materialize for much of western Kentucky.
Mesnonet readings from Trigg, Christian, Caldwell, and Hopkins showed less than a quarter-inch of rain over the weekend.
Weather Edge forecaster David Powell said the system moved through the area quickly and some areas received more rain than others.
