Viola Lawrence Gray, 92, Pembroke, passed on Friday, June 23, 2023.
Services will be Friday, June 30 at 1:00 at Gamble Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 to 1:00 at the funeral home.
Viola, the daughter of the late Gilmore and Beatrice Lawrence, was born on December 10, 1930, in Wilmon Arkansas. At the age of seven, she was adopted by Luther and Beulah Coleman-Guinn.
Viola was a member of St. Bethlehem Baptist Church and worked as a cook at Medco Nursing Home.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Leslie Gray; Son, Paul Gray; Daughter, Sharon Gray; Son, Jerome Gray; Stepson, Barrie L. Gray; Sister, Susie Campbell
Survivors include her children, Willie J. Greene, Dexter Gray, James W. Gray, Marilyn Trice, Donna Gray, Bryan (Tiffany) Gray; 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren, Special Nephew, Sidney Gray III, Devoted Friends, Michael Stevenson, Pastor William Catlett, and Cornelia McReynolds.
