A Hopkinsville man was charged with burglary on North Clay Street Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the area for an unknown problem and found blood splatter on the ground outside of the residence.
During the investigation, it was reportedly found that 36-year-old Andrew Ly had been at the residence before law enforcement’s arrival.
Ly had outstanding warrants for failure to appear and fled into an abandoned home and locked the doors when officers tried to talk with him. He was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree fleeing or evading police.
