Deputies have released the name of a Hopkinsville man that was injured in a shooting on Carl Smith Road in Christian County Thursday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say just after 3 am 30-year-old Davonta Spencer was getting into his car to go to work when three shots were fired with one hitting him in the leg.
He was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for his injuries.
No arrest has been made and deputies have blocked off the area as they continue to investigate the shooting.
