A woman was injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Country Club Lane in Hopkinsville Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say a car was northbound when for an unknown reason it went off the road hitting a utility pole, a mailbox, and a trash can causing the vehicle to overturn and come to a rest on its top.
A large section of the utility pole was tossed in the air landing next to the vehicle in the ditch.
The driver was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries.
The crash happened near the intersection of Cox Mill Road just after midnight.
