Funeral services for 95-year-old Viola “Bo” Joyce, of Cadiz, will be 1 PM Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Lawrence Cemtery.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
Two sons, Robert “Bobby” (Kathleen) Joyce, of New Haven, Missouri, and Johnny (Debbie) Boyd, of Cadiz;
A daughter, Rhonda (Terry) Mitcheson, of Cadiz;
A sister, Peggy Garner, of Cadiz;
10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild;
and special friends, Flo, Lee and the staff at the Perry County Nursing Home.
She died Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in Linden, Tennessee.
She was born March 7, 1928, in Trigg County, daughter of the late Thomas Louie Wynn and the late Grace Elizabeth Timmons Wynn.
She previously worked as a sales clerk at the Wilkinson’s Department Store in Cadiz, a former nurse’s aide, and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Hurricane Baptist Church in Trigg County, a former member of Woodman of the World, Cadiz Lions Club and enjoyed gardening.
“Bo” and her late husband, Robert, enjoyed taking trips and visiting Lake Okeechobee in Florida.
