A Hopkinsville woman was charged with falsely reporting an incident and arrested on active warrants Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 40-year-old Kimberly McCain reported her vehicle that had been involved in a collision in Louisville stolen on October 2nd.
While she was being arrested on warrants for non-payment of fines she admitted to falsely reporting her vehicle stolen because she was scared to go back to jail in Louisville.
She was arrested on the warrant and also charged with falsely reporting an incident.
