Two people were injured in a head-on collision on Pilot Rock Road in Christian County Sunday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a westbound car driven by Dameon Stout crossed the center line, near Hayes Road, and hit a truck driven by Kenneth Hancock just before 6 p.m. Stout left the scene before deputies arrived, but was later located on Monkey Norman Road after he knocked on someone’s door asking to use the phone.
Hancock was taken by private vehicle to the hospital for injuries. A passenger in Stout’s car was transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries.
Stout was arrested and charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
