A Celebration of Life for 76-year-old Jimmy Wayne Berkley, of Cadiz, will be 11 AM Saturday at King’s Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in East End Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
Two sisters, Mary Evelyn Hess-Connelly, of Florida, and Elsie Jo Muscarella (Frank), of Indiana;
Several nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews;
And a special thank you to special friends: John Allen, Tom, Chad, Butchie Thomas, Jimmy & Louise Sanderson and Thelma Freeman.
He was born April 2, 1947, in Cadiz, to Millard and Louise Randolph Berkley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Lou Berkley Bednar.
He died Sunday evening, November 5, 2023, at the Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Murray.
A lifelong resident of Trigg County, his passion was telling stories from his childhood and his days as a farm hand. His favorite words were “Dog Gone.” He said those words about every other word when telling stories. His favorite foods were Little Debbie Snack Cakes and Ice Cream.
