A Muhlenberg County woman was charged after she reportedly stabbed a man on Madisonville Road in Christian County Monday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Danny Collings says Candice Gray stabbed a man in the arm with a knife during an altercation over possibly talking to some other girl on the phone at the 5000 block of Madisonville Road.
Law enforcement was told about the stabbing when the man showed up at the hospital just before 2 a.m.
Collings says Gray claimed she was cutting the tint they were setting up in a barn and didn’t mean to stab him.
Gray was later arrested and charged with second-degree assault domestic violence. The man was also arrested on outstanding warrants after being released from the hospital.
