Kristy Elgin Grace, age 51, of Hopkinsville passed away on November 19, 2023, at her home of natural causes. A celebration of life services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Friday, November 24, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Grace was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on January 17, 1972, the daughter of Terry Alonzo Elgin and the late Georgia “Gaye” Gates Elgin. Kristie was employed with the Christian County Public School System.
Survivors include her husband of 11 years, Ralph Chadwick Grace of Hopkinsville, KY; her son Ty Grace of the home whom she adored and thought the sun rose and set in him. Whether it be watching wrestling or traveling to baseball games, she loved and supported him with all her heart. Her brother, Kelly Elgin of Daytona Beach, FL; and her sister, Sylvia Hall (Ben) of Hopkinsville, KY
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
