A teenager was charged after leading law enforcement on a short pursuit in Hopkinsville Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop a car driven by a 15-year-old who was speeding in the area of Las Vegas Drive. The teen then fled at speeds of up to 60 mph.
The pursuit reportedly came to an end on Tanglewood Drive and the teenager stopped the car and fled on foot before he was taken into custody for a warrant and charged with first and second-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
An adult in the car 21-year-old Nathaniel Carroll was also arrested and charged with unlawful transaction with a minor and obstructing governmental operations.
