A Hopkinsville man was charged after he allegedly assaulted a woman on Elm Street in Hopkinsville Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 21-year-old Preston Pryor who was intoxicated got into an argument with a woman assaulted her and broke her phone while not allowing her to leave the apartment.
Pryor was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, and second-degree strangulation.
