A drug investigation in Hopkinsville led to a traffic stop and a large amount of drugs being recovered Friday.

Kentucky State Police say they stopped 27-year-old Anthony White after conducting a drug investigation and found him to have 40 fentanyl pills in his possession.

The traffic stop reportedly led to an apartment rented by 30-year-old Gary Barker and 23-year-old Chermes White at Woodland Heights to be searched and 1500 fentanyl pills, a half ounce of cocaine, and money were recovered

Anthony White was arrested and charged with no registration plates, no registration receipt, DUI, and trafficking fentanyl.
