The City of Hopkinsville has a new creative outlet to shine some light on the people and the history of Christian County’s largest city.
The ‘Here in Hoptown’ podcast began earlier this year and focuses on the people and stories that people may know about, knew about and forgot, or never knew in the first place.
Amanda Brunt became the public information officer for the City of Hopkinsville earlier this year and said one of the podcast episodes is about the late author and activist bell hooks, the Hopkinsville native honored recently with the naming of a street in her honor.
