A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has plans for milling and paving along KY 1891/Lock E Road South of Canton in Trigg County starting Monday, May 13.
This project runs the entire length of KY 1891/Lock E Road from mile point 0.0 at the end of state maintenance near the Calhoun Hill boat ramp, extending northward to the KY 164/Linton Road intersection at mile point 3.31.
The work is expected to take about three weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Rogers Group is the prime contractor on this $327,422 highway improvement project. The target completion date: May 31.
