Less than 9,400 Pennyrile Electric members remain without electricity across the southwestern Kentucky region.
As of 10:00 AM, around 2,900 members were without electricity in Trigg County, Christian County had 2,100 without, while Todd, Logan, and Muhlenberg counties all hovered around 1,000.
Vice-President of Member Services Brent Gilkey said work continues a little slower this go-round because of all the debris that has to be removed before restoration work can begin.
There were well over 400 linemen working diligently on area restoration efforts Tuesday and many of them continue Wednesday.
As power is restored in certain areas, Gilkey mentioned that there might be cases where power is back on, but you or your neighbors still don’t have service.
If you have any problems you need to report to Pennyrile Electric, you can call their dispatch center at (270) 886-2555.
