A man showed up at the hospital after a report of shots fired on Plum Street in Christian County Thursday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say the man showed up at Jennie Stuart Health with a gunshot wound to the chest shortly after they received a call of shots fired.
It is believed some kind of altercation between him and a second person led to the shots being fired just before 2 a.m.
Deputies say the man was transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville and they are talking with a person of interest in the shooting.
