Officials with the City of Hopkinsville announced this week that Mike Perry, public works director, has been honored with a 2024 Community Development Leader Award.
Specifically, he was named the “City Engineer/Public Works Director of the Year.”
The CDLA’s annually celebrate the tireless efforts and unwavering dedication of Kentucky’s local leaders — which include city managers, public works directors, city engineers, and other similar municipal leaders.
Their responsibilities are to keep communities safe, operational and prosperous, and their work is often unnoticed, behind-the-scenes — but long-lasting if effective.
