Two Men Charged After Fleeing From Law Enforcement In Hopkinsville

Two men were charged after a high-speed pursuit that ended on Airport Road in Hopkinsville Sunday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Detorrion Ware for speeding on Fort Campbell Boulevard and he fled at speeds around 80 mph.

The pursuit reportedly came to an end on Airport Road when the vehicle went through a ditch. Police say one passenger 20-year-old Devonni Radford fled on foot before being apprehended.

A third person in the vehicle was injured and was taken to Jennie Stuart Health by Hopkinsville EMS.

Ware and Radford were charged with fleeing from police. Ware was also charged with speeding, failure to or improper signal, disregarding stop a sign, reckless driving, first-degree criminal mischief, and first-degree wanton endangerment.
