He died Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born January 4, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas, he was son of the late Robert Vernon Herndon and Mary Frances (Sholar) Herndon.
For more than 15 years, he dedicated his skills to Bremner Manufacturing in Princeton, handling maintenance duties. Prior to his tenure at Bremner, he was an employee of Averitt Lumber Company, where he worked for several years.
Outside of work, he entertained himself by playing video games and watching old television westerns, but perhaps what he cherished most was peace and quiet.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Herndon; his daughter, Jessica Danan Herndon; two brothers, Don Herndon and Jerry Herndon; and two sisters, Kay Hill and Sandra Herndon.
