A wreck on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville sent a man to the hospital Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a westbound car was attempting to turn into the Dollar General parking lot when it collided with an eastbound SUV.
The crash sent the SUV into a utility pole.
The driver of the SUV was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment.
East 9th Street will be temporarily blocked due to the broken utility pole.
