Barbara J. Murphy, 45, of Hopkinsville passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Barbara was born on December 23, 1978, in Christian County the daughter of the late George and Georgia Lou Haley Murphy. She attended Calvary Baptist Church and was a firm believer. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sisters, Barbara Lucille Spurlin and Connie Sue Dunn.
Her survivors include her son, Anthony Keenan of Herndon; her daughter, Karlee Keenan of Herndon; her granddaughter, Riverleigh Schrum; her brother, Johnny Murphy and his wife Glenda of Herndon; her two sisters, Janie Lou McGhee of Hopkinsville and Lisa Ann Dunn of Hopkinsville; and her significant other, James Miller of Hopkinsville.
