Beverly Givens, 73, of Hopkinsville

Beverly Manners Givens, 73, of Hopkinsville, died at 11:51 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Huck and Rev. Chris Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Clarksville, TN she was born February 18, 1951, the daughter of the late Gilbert M. Manners and Martha J. Dodd Manners. Beverly was retired from the healthcare field. She was a First United Methodist Church member, serving in the Welcome Center and Outreach Ministry. She was a past president of the Professional Association of Healthcare Professionals and the Hopkinsville Jr. Auxiliary. She had served as an E-911 Coordinator for Christian County and was a former Crofton Volunteer Fire Department Board member.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister: Barbara Johnson.

Survivors include her children: Julie Traughber of Hopkinsville, KY, and Calvin (Heather) Givens of Hopkinsville, KY; her sisters: Connie Allison of Hopkinsville, KY, and Renee Henderson; and her grandchildren: Hendley Traughber, Hunter Traughber, Greer Givens, Grasen Givens, and Cal Givens.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions were suggested to First United Methodist Church.
