A Hopkinsville man and woman were charged with possession of drugs during a warrant arrest on West 7th Street Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they arrested 47-year-old James Choate on a warrant for a parole violation and found him to have suspected meth and marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia.
Police say 33-year-old Heather Smith was also with him and was found to have synthetic marijuana along with a glass pipe with a crystal substance inside.
Choate was arrested and charged with possession of meth second offense and possession of synthetic drugs. Smith was also charged with possession of synthetic drugs.
