Kentucky’s first trail town is set to bring holiday cheer to the community with an old-fashioned, all-horse-drawn Christmas parade on Sunday, November 24, promising a nostalgic celebration complete with festive activities and a tree lighting ceremony.
Tommy Gunn from the Trail Town Agriculture Activities Group explained how the concept for a horse-drawn Christmas parade originated.
click to download audioAccording to Gunn, participants in the parade do not need to pre-register, but they should arrive early on Sunday, November 24. He said they would meet and line up at the Trail Town Agriculture Activities Complex at 223 Eddie Beshear Drive.

In addition, Gunn mentioned that the City of Dawson Springs has agreed to present prizes.
