Officials with the Woodlands Nature Station are inviting Cub Scout dens, packs and families to the facility from 10 AM until 3 PM this Saturday, in order to celebrate “Cub Scout Day.”

Cub Scouts of all levels will have the opportunity to work toward adventures through hands-on activities and programs related to this year’s theme: “Science Rocks!”

Scouts will discover chemistry, geology, astronomy and more with Nature Station naturalists and special guests from the Ben E. Clement Mineral Museum and the Land Between the Lakes Planetarium.

Adventures include:
+ Gizmos and Gadgets for Lions
+ Sky is the Limit for Tigers
+ Digging in the Past for Wolves
+ Super Science for Bears
+ Earth Rocks for Webelos
+ And Estimations for Arrow of Light candidates

Staff is recommending planning for a three-hour visit to complete all the activities.

All programming is included with Nature Station admission, which is $7 for ages 16+ and free for ages under 15.
