A Hopkinsville man was charged with distribution of obscene matter and distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor after an investigation Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they arrested 27-year-old Luke Castle on a warrant for three counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and seven counts of distribution of obscene matter.
Police say the investigation found an account online owned by him that uploaded three images portraying a sexual performance by a minor and seven obscene images and also made comments focused on sexually abusing young children.
He was arrested on Princeton Road and reportedly confessed to the account being his.
The investigation was handled by Hopkinsville Police Detective Jonathan Knight.
