Following back-to-back, record-breaking years for the state’s $13.8 billion tourism industry, Governor Andy Beshear announced Thursday the arrival of a new 2025 Official Kentucky Visitor’s Guidethat will be available at the state’s welcome centers January 1.

A singular free copy, as well as an interactive online version, can be found at kentuckytourism.com.

The completed production will once again serve as the state’s primary advertising and promotional piece, and it will allow readers to explore the Bluegrass by region or by topic of interest.

In a written statement, Kentucky Department of Tourism Commissioner Mike Mangeot said the guide will provide full inspiration and planning for a visit, and that it also provides tips and tools for travelers both local and from out-of-state.

Those who use #NewKyHome in their social media will have a chance to win a two-night stay at a Kentucky State Park, and this incentive will take place until April 2025, with the Governor announcing a winner once a month during one of his Team Kentucky Updates.

Beshear said he expects 2024 reports to come back strong, but 2023 was the best year on record for tourism, adding more than 95,000 jobs to Kentucky’s economic profile.
