Funeral services for 69-year-old Jennifer Sue Thomas Rives, of Pembroke, will 11 AM Wednesday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Rosedale Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Tuesday.
Survivors include:
Her son, Preston Rives, of Pembroke;
Step-daughter, Cindy (Lucas) Stagner, of Hopkinsville;
Two step-grandchildren, Jacob Hyde and Kimberly (Kyle) Graves;
Two step-great grandchildren, Mason and Logan Hyde.
Rev. Jonathan Arvin and Rev. Jimmy Stewart are officiating.
She died of natural causes Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Christian Health Center.
She was born May 17, 1955, in Princeton, the daughter of late Marvin and Evelyn Thomas.
She retired from Christian County Board of Education where she worked as a Bus Driver and Teachers Aide at Pembroke Elementary School.
She was a member of Salem Baptist Church, a lifetime member of the Western KY State Fair Board; the Pembroke Ruritan Club; Christian County Farm Bureau Board of Directors where she served as Ladies Chair; St. Elmo 4H Club leader; and Gideons International Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Joseph “Joe” Preston Rives, and her step-daughter, Michele Rives Hancock.
