A woman was injured and a home was destroyed in a fire on Poole Mill Road Friday morning.
Christian County emergency personnel say they received a call just before 6 a.m. for a house fire and found the home fully engulfed in flames.
Everyone was able to get out of the home but a woman suffered a cut to her leg while exiting the house and was treated at the scene by Hopkinsville EMS.
The cause of the fire has not been determined. The home is located at the 5000 block of Poole Mill Road.
The American Red Cross was contacted to help the family.
