Authorities have released the name of a man who was killed in a wreck on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Oak Grove Friday morning.
Christian County emergency personnel say shortly after 1:00 Friday morning 39-year-old Samuel Whitworth was attempting to cross Fort Campbell Boulevard near the Pilot Travel Center when he was struck by a northbound car driven by 41-year-old Rita Justice.
Whitworth was pronounced dead at the scene by the Christian County Coroner’s Office.
Justice was not injured in the crash. She was arrested and charged with DUI and vehicular homicide when under the influence of alcohol.
