Funeral services for 76-year-old Doug Torian, of Brookport, Illinois, and formerly of Christian County, will be noon Friday at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah.
Burial with military honors will take place Monday, February 10, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will begin Friday at 11 AM.
Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home in Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include:
His wife, Nora Ann Torian;
Sons, Douglas Woods, Keith Wade, Lonnie Wade, Ronald Wade;
Daughter, Gail Jones;
Three brothers, James Torian, Dean Torian, Luther Torian;
One sister, Costella Jenkins,
And a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He died Sunday, January 26, 2025, in Paducah.
He was a graduate of Christian County High School, where he played football and was a track star, and he served his country as a member of the United States Army.
