A report of a possible burglary led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man on drug-related charges Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for 24-year-old Trequan Smith who kicked in a door to a home on South Kentucky Avenue.
The owner did not want to file charges but Smith was found to have an active warrant and was arrested.
Police say in his bag two THC liquid spray bottles one containing a white powder, a bag of white powder, and three pipes were found.
Smith was arrested and charged with possession of synthetic drugs, first-degree promoting contraband, and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
