Grand Jury Returns Indictments on Child Sexual Abuse, Drug Trafficking Charges

The Christian County Grand Jury handed down several indictments on Friday, including on charges of child sexual abuse and drug trafficking.

A true bill was returned on Joshua Little, of Hopkinsville, on charges of first-degree sodomy involving a victim under 12, incest with a person less than 12 years of age, first-degree attempted rape involving a victim under 12, and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, victim under 12 years of age.

According to the indictment, the alleged crimes took place between January 2018 and December 2020 and were investigated by the Hopkinsville Police Department.

The grand jury also indicted Kacey Castile, of Hopkinsville, on charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine, 2nd offense, along with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Castile was arrested on December 5 by Christian County Sheriff’s deputies following a drug investigation. During a search of Castile’s home and belongings, deputies said they found 14 grams of suspected meth, a homemade water bong, two grams of marijuana, and a digital scale.

Additionally, Wendy Thompson, an Oak Grove woman who was present in Castile’s home during the search, was indicted on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance – meth, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – unspecified drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

John Bilyeu, of Hopkinsville, was indicted on charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – meth, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bilyeu was arrested on January 16 after a month-long investigation by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said when they searched a house on Walnut Street they found and seized 4 grams of suspected meth, 30 suspected fentanyl pills, drug paraphernalia, a cell phone, and money.

A true bill was also returned against Logan Mann of Hopkinsville, charging him with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance  – meth – stemming from a January 2 incident investigated by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.
