Tommy Civils, 71, of Oak Grove

Tommy Lee Civils, 71 of Oak Grove, passed away on February 16, 2025, at his residence.

Tommy was born in Bumpus Mill, Tennessee to the late James Civils and Bulor Mae Majors Civils. He was a farmer and worked for Brame Farm in Christian County.

Tommy was a member of Foston Chapel Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, Trustee, and Bus Driver.

He was married to the late Laura Ann Maxie who preceded him in death in 2018.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 pm, February 26, 2025, at Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Aaron Pettus officiating.

Burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am till funeral time.

Adams and Sons Mortuary is in charge of Arrangements.

Tommy is survived by his sons Robert (Shalonda) Maxie, Clarksville TN; and Curtis (Angela) Maxie, Oak Grove, Ky. Brothers, John Civils, Herndon, Ky., Perry (Anita) Civils, Buffalo, NY.
