A home on Twyman Street in Hopkinsville was severely damaged in a fire Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Battalion Chief Spencer Wood says they were called by a passerby who noticed a fire in the area, and when they arrived, the back of 1819 Twyman Street was fully engulfed in flames.
The home that was currently vacant suffered severe fire damage to the back and smoke damage to the rest of the home.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
