Georgia Troutman, 82, of Cadiz

Georgia Wheatt Troutman, 82, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Ryan House-Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, Arizona.

Born on January 27, 1943, in Trigg County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Wheatt and Eddie Pearl Guier Wheatt.

Throughout the years, Georgia worked at the former Pete Light Spring Restaurant, at Elk Brand Mfg, and at Shady Lawn Nursing Home. Beyond her work, she found joy in her hobbies of sewing, crocheting, and quilting, and the companionship of her dog, Wiggles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Don Troutman; their son, David Troutman; her brother, Gene Wheatt; and her sisters, Betty Jane Rulo and Gracie Fletcher.

She is survived by her daughters, Renee Metcalf (Martha Frisby) of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Compton (Bill) of Cadiz, and Angie Lilly (Darrell Snyder) of Cadiz; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at Goodwin Funeral Home, 138 Main Street in Cadiz, at 3:00 PM, Friday, March 7, 2025, with Bro. Gary Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until the service hour of 3:00 PM.
